Well...Christmas passed and we had a wonderful time. This was Alyssa's first Christmas and it was one that I will never forget. She thought the wrapping paper was the greatest thing! Matt & Tiff were at the house Christmas morning to see what Santa brought Alyssa. It was a great day for us all! The next morning, Ed, Lauren, Alyssa and myself loaded up the truck and headed home to Mississippi to see my moma. It was the longest ride I think that had ever taken place. Ed's daughter, Jerica, was there with us and we had to take her home (Houston, TX) and then go on into Southaven. Alyssa did soooo good on this trip. We were exhausted when we got there...but it was all well worth it! The next morning we got up and went to see Moma. She and Mark both cried and cried when they saw Alyssa. She had grown soooo much to them. She laughed at them and had the best time with them. It meant sooo much to those two people. They love her more than life itself.
We stayed in Southaven from Wednesday night and left on Sunday morning. Lauren wanted to get back home so she could spend New Year's Eve with Frank. Ed and I were ready to get back home... period. Here are a few pics of Christmas and the fun we had.....
